About Us
This father-son partnership has always had the commitment, skills and dedication necessary to provide their clients with an avenue to fulfill their dreams, whether it is a beautiful new home or a business looking for a new look.  Both, Pat and Matt are carpenters with the creativity and knowledge to handle one-of-a-kind woodworking projects, cabinetry, new home or light commercial construction or custom remodels.

About Pat
Pat Luken has been in the home construction business since 1979, when he founded Luken Drywall & Construction.  When his son Matt entered the business in 1994 the business name became Luken Construction.
Pat has many years of experience and brings a creative perspective to any project, big or small.  He has an eye for design and it is showcased in the furniture, cabinets, homes, and remodeling projects he has helped design.  Pat was instrumental in founding the Lewis & Clark Home Builders’ Association in 1999 and served as the Inaugural President for 2 years.  It is also important to note that he has received awards for Energy Efficient Building since more businesses and families are realizing the magnitude of our energy footprints and want to make a difference in the environment.
Today Pat continues an active role in the business and still enjoys working with individuals and families to make their home projects and dreams become a reality.
About Matt
Matt Luken has been in the home remodeling and new construction business since 1994 but did help build his family home at the age of 7 which sparked his love of building.  He is a Master Carpenter and General Contractor who has the creativity and skill to produce beautiful furniture, cabinetry, and homes with great attention to detail.  He has been a dealer and installer for StarMark cabinetry since 2000 and has remodeled and built many homes in Yankton and the surrounding area.  He was also a state representative for the Lewis & Clark Home Builders Association from 2000 to 2003.
Matt loves what he does and strives to meet every customers wish to fulfill their dream of a beautiful home to enjoy with family and friends.

Matt and his wife, Regan, live in Yankton and are raising three great kids, Matthew (14), Thea (8), and Brie (6).  Oh, and they can’t forget their furry kids, Miss Furby (11), a Papillion, and Oscar and PJ the hamsters.
